“Me to We” – socially responsible clothing

I have wondered lately what it would cost to produce clothing that was not dependant on sweatshop labour, or even cheaper labour from other countries. Apparently it doesn’t cost any more than, say, Lululemon (which is not a comment about their practices, since I know nothing about them).

“Me to We” seems to be connected with the Free the Children organization, and offers “responsible style” – clothes that are domestically produced, sweatshop-free, and made of organic cotton. Women’s prices range from $20 for a t-shirt to $70 for yoga pants.
